I have found subs in srt, but they always open in ANSI and are gibberish.

The only EN I have found were derived from Serbian, then computer translated into English nonsense.

Hi.

I'm new to this site and I'm not sure how it works but OMG!  I have been looking for decent subtitles for this movie for the past 2 months.  I've found and tried all that I have found and like you said it is simply nonsensical gibberish.  Please let me know if you find these anywhere.

I can locate Russian subs in Cyrillic.  Notepad always opens the srt into ANSI instead of Unicode.

I think if I could open in Unicode, then I could use Google translate (yes, I know, bad - shame - evil) for a rough draft and try to rewrite into something ore intelligible.  At least, I have been able to revise many Japanese subs.

You can probably close this request.  The series has appeared in I2P and other realms.  Subs are HC and seem fine.  The film appears to be edited from the the series, and I think I will go that route.
