I was wondering if there is some way to tone down, or even turn off, the ad pics that display on the first page, on a first visit. My wife thought that I was looking at a porn site, because she caught sight of the pics being displayed. Some of them are quite blatant. I would hope that children wouldn't be looking on the site for subtitles, and seeing the pics on display. Deaf children do use subtitles too! hardofhearing Posted December 12, 2016 Author Report Share Posted December 12, 2016 I don't have any problem with seeing comments. I am running on a PC, not android. I am running Firefox with adblock+. The problem is with whoever is allowing these "porn" looking ads to be used. The above post does nothing to rectify this. But thanks for your input anyway... bird Posted December 13, 2016 Report Share Posted December 13, 2016 Hi I use Firefox with ghostery and adblock and don't see any ads any more - even when adblock isn't active on the site and even when I'm not logged in.
