havenofear
Hello! I have the raw subtitle files, but unfortunately its not a text file but a coded/crypted and parted webvtt subtitle. I dont know how to convert these files into text format but if anybody does, feel free to contact me.
bellocom83
You can convert them here I think http://www.3playmedia.com/services-features/free-tools/captions-format-converter/ Thanks
havenofear
Yes, you can, if you have a standard webvtt file (which is basically a text file). Unfortunately Channel 5 is using a different format (maybe they store the closed captions as an image like on DVDs, I dunno). The point is: at first I need to retrieve somehow the original text based subtitle and after that I can easily convert to any format. But since I dont have the slightest idea how an html5 media player works, I dont know what needs to be done.

havenofear
It has Adobe DRM. "#EXT-X-KEY:METHOD=AES-128,URI="https://access.adobeprimetime.com/faxsks/axs_prod/key",IV=0xd605131b814d186ca8f97b76c8d0411b" I think we're pretty much screwed here. Should wait for the DVD or type the subtitle manually which doesnt sound fun. I could do some typing (5 mins/episodes tops).

havenofear
Are all the vtt-files 1Kb in size? Yes, they are. Some Silverlight-based site (like HBO) use these type of subtitles, but I've never seen a DRM-protected subtitle. Could you please attach the subtitle you found? I dont seem to find it. popopopo
Any chance for subs for 2 season?
havenofear
0. Afaics Channel 5 completely stopped providing subtitles. Although it's possible that season 2 will be available on Netflix. If that's the case there will be subs some time.
