- Six, la nouvelle série de History, a vu son tournage stoppé. L'acteur principal (Joe Manganiello) est sorti définitivement de la prod pour "des raisons médicales"... Le choix est de le remplacer et retourner ses scènes (tout quoi...) ou d'abandonner le projet. A suivre...

- TV One ordered their first scripted drama series : Sneaker Pawn. The series is expected to premiere in 2017. "Seventeen-year-old Chase Reed’s sneaker business turns him into the hottest mogul in New York City, with the industry’s elite on speed dial. But, his family won’t let it go to his head. - The Mist : Spike TV orders Stephen King novella series, 10 episodes. 
- Tales from the Crypt : TNT greenlights the new serie and orders 10 episodes,
- Hulu  has acquired exclusive rights to Freakish. The 10-episode first season is in production, with an eye toward a 2017 premiere. The horror series is set after a meltdown at the local chemical plant. A group of high schoolers struggles against the predatory mutant freaks who have taken over their small town...
- Time Out of Mind : drama inspired by Bob Dylan songs being developed by Amazon TV

 

- Twin Peaks : Surprise, le tournage des DEUX saisons est en cours. Oui DEUX ! Officiel.
- Game of Thrones : Le scénario complet comporte 73 épisodes... entre d'autres termes, à la fin de la saison 6 qui commence dimanche prochain, il ne restera plus que 13 épisodes à tourner. Sniff la fin approche. Le planning initial prévoyait deux mini-saisons finales (la S7 avec 7 ép. et la S8 avec 6 ép.). Il semblerait (info directe HBO) que ça soit toujours le plan prévu.
- Alors que la saison 2 n'est pas encore diffusée,  M. Night Shyamalan annonce qu'il "veut" une saison 3 pour Wayward Pines. A confirmer donc...
- Season two of 12 Monkeys premieres April 18th. Ce n'est pas la news, l'info c'est que "3 saisons ne suffiront pas pour boucler le scénario prévu" (info du scénariste)
- Alors que la saison 2 de Outlander a débuté le 9 avril sur Starz, le tournage ne s'est terminé que le 13 avril ! Va falloir s'activer dans la salle de montage !

- Impastor : Season two debuts on June 26th
- Deadbeat : Season three premieres on April 20th.

- Netflix renewed F is for Family for a second season

Et juste pour le plaisir, car il s'agit d'un film, le dernier délire des scénaristes en manque d'inspiration, MIB 23 : 21 Jump Street movie to crossover with Men in Black. "21 Jump Street will join Men in Black. The characters played by Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum will take their investigation techniques to the next level and work to find aliens."

 

Captive
Network: Netflix
Logline: Series will explore hostage situations and negotiations around the world. The episodes look at a wide range of situations from the viewpoint of everyone involved: the victims and their families back home, the experienced negotiators, business leaders, government officials and the kidnappers themselves.
The series has been given an order of eight episodes. Alex Marengo who produced The Bible series will be the showrunner alongside America: The Story of Us producer, Kathryn Taylor.

Freakish
Network: Hulu
Logline: Centers on a group of students at a small-town high school, who must fight for survival when predatory mutant freaks take over after a meltdown at the local chemical plant.
Hulu has given a series order of ten episodes. The series is currently in production for premiere slated for later this year.

Happy City
Network: FX Network
Logline: A young taxi named Tyler and his millennial friends (a firetruck and a helicopter) navigate their way through life in the big city and face broken relationships, workplace struggles, and existential crises.
The world of the series will be reminiscent of the model-based visual style of children’s shows such as Thomas the Tank Engine.

The Barbary Coast

Inspired by the book, “The Barbary Coast: An Informal History of the San Francisco Underworld,” written by Herbert Asbury and published by Knopf in 1933.
Still in development, but planned as a series for a premium cable network or a streaming service.

ITV has given a series order of six episodes. In addition to co-producing the series, Acorn Media Enterprises, the development division for the Acorn brand of RLJ Entertainment, has acquired the UK DVD and secondary rights.

The Mist

Logline: A seemingly innocuous mist seeps into a small town but contains limitless havoc. From psychological terrors to otherworldly creatures, the mist causes the town residents’ darkest demons to appear forcing them to battle the supernatural event and, more importantly, each other.
Based on the novella, “The Mist,” written by Stephen King and first published as part of the horror anthology, “Dark Forces” by Viking Press in 1980.The novella was also adapted into the film, “The Mist,” (2007), directed by Frank Darabont and starring Thomas Jane and Marcia Gay Harden.
Ordered straight to series after originally only ordering a pilot. Spike has ordered 10 episodes.

The Swans Of Fifth Avenue
Logline: “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” author Truman Capote and socialite and style icon Babe Paley— who was married to CBS founder William Paley — had a star-crossed friendship in the mid 1950s. Through Babe, Truman gains an unlikely entrée into the enviable lives of Manhattan’s elite, leading to the ultimate betrayal of Babe and the other Swans in her circle. Based on the novel.
Based on the novel, “The Swans Of Fifth Avenue,” written by Melanie Benjamin and published by Delacorte Press on January 26, 2016.
Planned as a premium cable limited series, a network has not been set.

Untitled José Padilha Project
Network: Netflix
Logline: Operation Car Wash is an ongoing probe involving allegations of corruption at state-owned oil giant Petrobras which has impacted and fascinated the country. This project will follow the judicial investigators in their journey to unveil this scheme which has become the largest corruption that Brazil has ever witnessed.
Project marks the second Netflix original produced in Brazil. The series will be directed by José Padilha (the creator of Narcos).

The Hedge Knight or Untitled Game of Thrones Sin-Off
Network: HBO
Logline: George R.R. Martin recently told, he’s open to the idea of a spin-off series for the hugely popular HBO series. He added that one of his novellas, which take place before the events of the HBO series, would be good material for a show or TV movie: "Each of the novellas could easily be done as a two-hour stand-alone movie for television; that would probably be the ideal way to do them, rather than as an ongoing weekly series. The Hedge Knight& and its sequels are lighter [in tone] than A Song of Ice and Fire, more in the realm of action/adventure." However, Martin says there have been no serious discussion of a spin-off series yet.
Oui ? Non ?... à suivre, mais c'est vraiment possible vu le succès de GoT et sa fin qui se profile à grands pas.

Eh bah pas grand chose me tente dans tout ça.

Mel Gibson qui écrit sa série ! Plus personne ne l'engage depuis vous savez quoi, du coup il fait son propre truc. ( J'ai envie de dire respect ! )

Sinon le tournage de deux fins pour Castle...  Je suis désolée mais Castle sans Beckett c'est comme Mulder sans Scully, ou MacGyver sans son couteau suisse ou encore Mick Brisgau sans son Opel Diplomat...

Et d'accord avec @miss-house à propos de Castle, on a vu assez de séries où un des personnages principaux partait, on sait ce que ça donne après 

Et à Mel Gibson, je dis Respect et Good Luck, il le mérite pour tout ce qu'il a fait de positif dans sa carrière, et qui est, comme toujours, occulté par le reste

Person Of Interest - Saison 5

Après des mois de faux suspense, Jonathan Nolan a annoncé que la saison 5 dePerson Of Interest sera bel et bien la dernière. Elle s'est fait attendre sur CBS et va être diffusée en rafale en un mois et demi seulement avec deux épisodes par semaine. C'est ce qui s'appelle du déstockage massif, pour une série que le network a toujours maltraité pour des raisons un peu floues."

Pour Person of truc... faut savoir que l'arrêt était déjà prévu dès la fin de la saison 1... seul l'appui de TF1, qui a eu de bons scores, a permis le renouvellement pour un S2.
ps : je vous avais annoncé le 11 janvier que la S5 serait très probablement la dernière. :-)

Websérie de la RTBF.

Épisodes d'une durée de 5 à 7 minutes.

Voici toute l'histoire.

4 pilotes, 10 jours de compétition, 6847 votes attribués par le public RTBF... C'est la websérie "Burkland" qui remporte notre appel à projet 2015 !

Ça y est, les compteurs ont été arrêtés ce vendredi à midi. Le public a choisi sa websérie préférée : "Burkland" est la grande gagnante du deuxième appel à projets lancé par RTBF Interactive en avril 2015.

A l’issue des 10 jours de compétition, "Burkland" a récolté le plus de points et est également le pilote le plus visionné : les internautes sont donc unanimes et souhaitent connaître la suite !

La RTBF félicite toutes les équipes participantes, leur enthousiasme, leur créativité et le dynamisme dont elles ont fait preuve pour activer leurs communautés. Les places suivantes sont occupées respectivement par les pilotes de Genius, Couples en thérapie et Has Been.

"Burkland", c'est quoi ?

C’est l’histoire de Julia et Jack qui, au cours de leur voyage de noces, se sont arrêtés dans un diner américain le long de la route. Depuis, on ne les a jamais revus. Burkland, c’est une petite bourgade aujourd'hui abandonnée. Pour comprendre ce qui s’est passé, il faut regarder les images d'un smartphone retrouvé sur place, celui de Julia. Entre frisson et mystère, le thriller se déroulera au fond de la campagne wallonne.

Grégory Beghin, le réalisateur et scénariste de "Burkland", est un visage connu des amateurs de webséries en Belgique puisqu'il était l'un des acteurs de "Euh". Cette fois-ci, il passe de l'autre côté de la caméra. Dans son casting, il a retenu Melissa Leon Martin et Real Siellez (animateur de la matinale de Musiq3 depuis la rentrée).

"Burkland" présente la particularité d'avoir été filmé en grand partie avec un iPhone 6, par les acteurs eux-mêmes. C’était une volonté narrative du créateur qui conçoit sa websérie pour qu’elle soit aussi regardée sur un smartphone, comme si le public regardait les vidéos qu’il contenait. Le mixage sonore utilise également la technique de synthèse binaurale, qui permet de spatialiser le son pour une réelle immersion dans l'univers de la websérie lorsqu'on utilise un casque audio. RTBF Interactive se réjouit de proposer à son public une expérience inédite et originale, totalement immersive.

- Surprise... HBO renewed Game of Thrones for Season 7
- Season 2 of Mr. Robot is premiering on July 13, 2016
- The Shannara Chronicles : season 2 renewal for MTV series.
- Wrecked (TBS) premiering Tuesday, June 14, 2016
- Tyrant : Season 3 debuts on July 6th 
- Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll : the season 2 premieres June 30th
- X-Files : L'annonce d'un saison 12 ne dépend plus que de l'agenda des deux acteurs... (info FOX)
- Silicon Valley: Season 4 renewal from HBO

- Showtime has greenlit the Guerrilla TV series, from American Crime‘s John Ridley. Luther‘s Idris Elba will star and executive produce. The six-part limited series centers on a couple whose passion propels them from political activism into radical militancy.
- Syfy has ordered a Superman prequel pilot titled Krypton. Based on DC Comics characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Krypton is set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet. It follows Superman’s grandfather — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.
- MTV announces it has given the greenlight to three new scripted TV shows: Loosely Exactly Nicole, Mary + Jane, and Sweet/Vicious.
-- Loosely Exactly Nicole : Nicole Byer is living the Hollywood dream. Well, Hollywood adjacent – the deep valley to be precise and it’s not so much a dream but a struggle. - Kevin Bacon has been cast as the lead in a new comedy pilot for the online retailer’s streaming service called I Love Dick (Amazon).
- Naomi Watts has been cast as the lead in a new psychological thriller Gypsy coming to Netflix in 2017. The series received a straight-to-series order for 10 episodes.
- Filming has begun on the first season of the upcoming American Gods series. (Starz).
- Filming has begun for Prison Break reboot series (FOX).
- Jean-Claude Van Damme is working on a new comedy pilot for Amazon, titled Jean-Claude Van Johnson. The pilot is set to start production in mid-May in Los Angeles.
- Humans is back. AMC announced that production has officially begun on season two of the series.
