putty10
Dear all, When I download subs, they work fine on my PC, using VLC player, but when I want to watch something on my tv, using a mediaplayer (A.C.Ryan) the mediabox does not recognise the subs at all. Whan am I doing wrong? Thanks!
Vultural
What type of subs are they? What type of video is it? File extensions. My standalone unit cannot deciper any subtitle extension other than .srt. Sometimes, I drop the film and sub into mkvmerge (takes less than a minute) and view the resultant file. Sub now inside the mkv codec. I think you will get more knowledgeable replies from others, but you will assist if you can tell the file extensions you are having problems with.
