RodCla
A number of people have taken about 1/3 of my English subs for "Un Village Français" from this site, and posted them on a site called Aliensubtitles. I am not against sharing my work freely, but I get no credit whatsoever, other than my tag line buried at the end of the subs. The poster gets the apparent credit. Also it is this site here which has given me the advice and support which has made my work easier. The other site offers no help or community, not even a contact address. What are your thoughts on this ? I resent the people who have done this. Are they Members ?
chamallow
Hi, well as long as you post something on the internet, it becomes public, so anyone is free to upload them where they want (there's no copyright). Those who don't keep the credit lines, and just upload your work, those are idiots! (to stay polite) If they were playing fair, they'd write somewhere on their page, "done by XXX", if not, well if they don't modify your credits or the subtitles, then there's nothing that can be done. People do the same with our subtitles. 1 -- Got questions? Read our FAQ. Wanna support me? Check my Tipee.
