CJack Posted December 11, 2013 Report Share Posted December 11, 2013 Hi, I have read a post about people getting a 403 message when visiting the site, but it dates from 2010. My problem is similar but different. When I try to access the site from any pc or device using my home internet connection I get a 403 (You don't have permission to access / on this server) This is the error i'm getting: Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2 Server at www.addic7ed.com Port 80 Now when I try using the internet connection from friends or from work, all is fine and I can access the site. Resolving the ip address from multiple locations shows that they are all the same, so it could not be a DNS issue. I already tried to contact the owner of the site (by mail and using the contact form) but I haven't received any response. Does anyone have a clue on how to fix this? I click on login, then this appears "User emeline-whovian doesn't exist" but somehow, I am connected, as I can click on "My Panel" or "Logout". Let me know if you still encounter problems when you try to login. I still get a 403 error when trying to access the site. edit: Alex, Can you check if my ip is blocked? If so, can you tell me why, because I never used addic7ed until about 2 weeks ago. My isp can give me a different ip after they do maintenance, so maybe I got an already blocked address. Some of you are hitting the website A LOT (every second or so). Before we start banning you, the least you can do is check your setting and set them correctly.
