Most times, subs are only created for "scene" releases of episodes aired in mainland USA: not, for example, for the earlier airings of shows in, say, Canada. This causes a problem: there are Canadian shows, aired in Canada, for which there are ****s - but not subs (because - see above). Later, some of these shows appear on US tv but no ****s appear for them, because they have already been released - from rips of the Canadian airings; and so, no subs are made and published. An example is the current airing of "The Guard". This series was first shown on Canadian tv in 2008, and no subs have ever been available, because...etc. Now it is showing on US tv, and because ****s have already been released for all the three seasons so far, there will be no new releases - and, therefore, no subs. News is that ION (who bought the rights to show "The Guard" in the US) will also broadcast "The Border" - the same situation obtains as with "The Guard". Unt sunt humana s. The ****s for the original Canadian broadcasts (3 seasons) are on TVTorrents.com. Maybe, for this show, I've jumped the gun: the ****s for the US series may yet be released; they may be just a bit late - it does happen. Meanwhile, thank you for your interest. s. But the main problem is that I need the help of another pair of ears, which makes it a slow process (and only when the ears are available - wife sitting by me at the PC). The last time I tried it - doing a complete correction of a text that was already sync'd - it took almost a week to do one tv episode. s.
