BlackBKev
My name is Kevin and I come from Lyon, France. If I'm here now, it's just because I want to translate my favorite series as Glee, Being Human or Happily Divorced. I just have one problem: I don't have any idea how does it work (you know translation stuff). So, if someone can teach me, it will be nice ! I speak English and Spanish so I can translate series in each language. I study economics and foreign languages at the University Lumière Lyon 2 See ya ! :)
DrJackson
Hi Kevin, and welcome. You can translate your favourite series using: 1. Online addic7ed translation feature. You have to log into the site, look after what episode you want to translate, then, after you'll press the "join translation" button (or, in case there is no translation started, select "Start translation" button, select language for translation and start to do what you can to do ). I advice you to read carefuly the Translation Rules (you can read these when you "join" an already open translation). 2. A software for editing / translating subtitles like Subtitle Edit or Subtitle Workshop or whatever. That means you'll work ''off-line". We have there a French subforum, and a lot of some good translators, search and read through that subforum. doc The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do!
