Macondo
+1 for Rome. I remember that I get to the last episode and in the middle dvd is just stopped. And I barely could wait to find it on the net to see how it ends. And of course one of my favorites Murphy's Law

spyderspyder
I'm going by this: "On November 2, 2009, TNT announced it has purchased the rights to Southland's original seven episodes, as well as six completed episodes from what would have been its second season. ...no additional episodes of the series have been ordered." However, you may well be right, 'cos I recently found this: "...no new episodes of the series have been ordered, pending an assessment of ratings for the original 13" However, the ratings are not good - unlike the show. (Meanwhile, in the UK, The X Factor regularly pulls a reported 30% of the population - I find it hard to believe, but, as Rousseau once said, "The more I get to know people, the more I like my dog." s. tweety
lots of good stuff mentioned here, i really miss, and really want to see a proper ending to. Like the Serenity movie they made to wrap up a few threads with from Firefly.. Once Defying Gravity started to get interesting, they took it off mid-season too And Star Trek Enterprise, they only got four seasons compared to the other series which got seven, i did read someplace they originally got drafted for seven but the audience failed (so they claims) someone gotta tell the broadcasting companies it does take some time to build up a loyal audience... it's all numbers to them these days it seems.. :/

aquire
My favorite shows: The Riches!! Funny and intelligent, no proper ending they just took it off. Dirty Sexy Money; no proper ending here either. Six Feet Under; ended with several snapshots of every persons future, very nice work!
