rb2910
Almost every time I visit the website a page for a betting site pops up, which wouldn't really be a problem, but every time I close it, it pops back up again. I can't even search for subtitles, because after typing 1 letter, the page comes back again. Sometimes it helps to close the tab with the site, and then open a new tab. Anyone else having this problem?
DrJackson
Nope. What browser do you use? I have both IE and FFx, and with none I haven't that issue. If you use IE, set up pop up blocker, it's easy. doc. The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do! Maverick
I too have this problem and only on Addi7ed. The popup I get is Battlestar Galactia online and I get it on all the computers I use (home, media, two work computers). It pops up whether I'm logged in or not. alex28
Ok, in order to fix the problem.. i need some info: Does the pop-up appear more than once a day? After you close the pop-up, does it appear again? The betting ad it`s not from Addic7ed i think.. i`ll look into it.i've set the pop-up to appear only to users that are not logged in... so if you`re logged in it shouldn`t be a problem. Please test without being logged in and tell me if you still encounter problems (where you close the ad and it reappears). The pop-ups should appear once / day. Changing the world. One subtitle at a time.
rb2910
Ok, so logged in everything seems to be fine. But I tried again using the InPrivate option in IE, and that way (not logged in) this page pops up https://nl.betclic.com/register_b.aspx Everytime I close the page and try to do something on addic7ed.com (scroll, type, click a link) the page pops back up, so I can't do anything else. alex28
What country is your IP from? (if you`re using a proxy)... or what country are you in now? (yes, i see NL in your profile.. i wanna double-check). We did some tests from NL and found no problems... 1 Changing the world. One subtitle at a time.
