ello
My partner wants to get into subbing tv shows on his mac. Are there any mac friendly programs worth trying? Is Jubler any good? Please don't recommend Bootcampin' his system just for one program.
Kerensky
You could try Aegisub or Jubbler Or some virtualization machine like vmware or parallels to run windows apps inside mac. GeirDM
I would like to have Nikse's SubtitleEdit on my MacBook... Running natively in Snow Leopard... That would really be something! Not very likely, but hey, I can dream right? :) @geirdm Space Cowboy!
Dwigt
So far, I'd say that Jubler is the only adequate tool that works on Mac OS X. You have to install MPlayer for it to work better but it's the only software that you can use for some time without too much nuisance.
koplersky
I've tried Jubler and Aegisub, but I didn't like them at all. I'm used to VSS, so the only option I could think about was to run it from a Windows XP virtual machine (at least it's faster than Windows 7).
