Greek subs

I have a film which is in english and I have a subtitle file which is Greek, however, the greek characters are not greek, I know there is some way to get them to appear greek but I dont know what it is.

I want to burn this to a dvd so VLC is no good for this job.

Any help / advice would be appreciated as I am at my wits end trying to get this to work.

And it should work. Don't know what to say exactly about burning it... it might work in the end. Btw, VLC can play DVD files :-).
You can also use PowerDVD

If this works, hand over a tzatziki recipe :-D

Because of this post, i found the opportunity to say something very important for
greek subs.

I have already mentioned this before with pm to alex, but i can still see the same problem. A few months ago i didn' have problem download greek subs from http://www.addic7ed.com/.:-/ Now every time i download a tv episode with greek subs, this is what i see:

maybe u need to check/uncheck (not sure what your default is) Force ANSI in your Panel...
